Evening Briefing....

I am writing to you from Alhambra, where the smoke from the fire is far away as possible. I can safely tell you that the schools in the Pasadena area will not be practicing tomorrow. Trust me.

Anyway, he is the latest off the recruiting wire. It's been a slow day around here.

TELFER UPDATE...

Rancho Cucamonga TE Randall Telfer (our seven ranked player on our Top 100) has been under the radar this summer. That is how recruiting works. You commit early, you become old news after a while. To read about his summer click here.

A SLEEPER FROM POMONA HAS MADE AN EARLY COMMITMENT

Darrin Lewis from Pomona HS has been way under the radar. And when I say under the radar, I mean WAY under the radar. Well has an D-1AA offer and has committed. To read more click here.

And speaking of Rancho Cucamonga, they are thinking big down there according to the Daily Bulletin's Clay Fowler. To read more click here.

Tomorrow we will feature four players that we are calling "Diamonds in the Rough." These are players that you have not read about, but they have a chance to "get out." That is a recruiting term for a kid that might get an offer...

See you tomorrow.
